Opening Reception August 17th, 6-10PM
On view until September 6th

Point Green has partnered with Monika Lidia to present TREMORS, a multidisciplinary group show in response to recent political and social upheaval, with a portion of proceeds going to charities nominated by the artists.

The opening programming includes performances by artists Nyssa Frank and DeeDeeDame. Additional programming includes a night of dance and music on August 19th, from 7 – 11 PM, with performances by Ninjasonik, Howardian, Jocko Weyland, Cathy de la Cruz, and DM Kinch. Scott Sternbach and Andrei Matorin will host an artist talk & performance on August 30th from 6 – 10 PM.

Artwork exhibited shines light on present issues ranging from women’s rights, to immigration, to the deterioration of our environment, and more. TREMORS are signs of a colossal disaster. [A diverse range of artists will gather in one room to share what has personally shaken their hearts and minds, bringing forth a collective awareness and promoting positive change.

Artists featured are Scott Sternbach, Rene Martinez, Meryl Meisler, Zeng Hong Li, Bria Josephs, Sophie French, Bonam Kim, Leslie Bish, Rosary Solimanto, Lis Grace, Lauren Ruiz, Alex Joseph, Linda Serrone Rolon, Margaret Roleke, David Meanix, Destiny Mata, Neil Horsky, Aeron Roemer, René Martinez, Saeyhun Paik, Jane Dell, Zoe Lintzeris, James Rose, Margot Bird, and Lisa Lebofsky.

Charities that will benefit from the purchase of artworks include the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Sierra Club, and the NAACP legal defense and educational fund.

TREMORS will run through September 6th and artists will be present at the opening reception on August 17th. Artworks can also be viewed every Wednesday through Friday from 10am-6pm or by appointment by contacting Point Green Studio. Corresponding events will be posted and updated on the TREMORS website at
