“Marketing” is often seen as a dirty word – but it is essential to the practices of any artist. As an artist, you are also a small business owner. Your product is not your work as much as it is yourself.
Marketing should be a true expression of who you really are.
Because there is no “one size fits all” strategy, this workshop will be individually tailored to the needs of the artists that sign up.
-social media marketing: how to build a community
-understanding the roles of an editor or curator
-how to price your work
-a brief introduction to grant writing
-public relations & SEO
At the end of this workshop, you will walk away with new direction and confidence in your work.
